It all began in September 2021, when our lives crossed paths through the introduction of mutual friends. Though I was living in Pittsburgh and he in Chicago, our connection felt immediate. We spent hours talking on the phone, with each conversation bringing us closer together and revealing how much we truly had in common.

By December 2021, we decided to meet in person for the first time in Pittsburgh. That meeting was everything we had hoped for and more—filled with excitement, warmth, and the undeniable spark that marked the start of something deeper.

On December 10, 2023, we celebrated with our families, marking the official beginning of our commitment to one another. Surrounded by love, joy, and gratitude, we knew this was the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in our lives.

In 2024, Venus took a beautiful step forward and proposed. It was a moment of pure joy—a testament to how far we had come and how much we truly meant to each other.
